The Residential Life and Housing Team, in coordination with the Executive Leadership Team, Carroll Leadership Team, and Associated Students of Carroll College, is excited to announce the next phase of the Housing Program at Carroll College!
Live On. Feel Supported. You Belong.
Your home on campus is more than a place to sleep—it’s where you build friendships, find support, and discover your place in the Carroll community. To help every student start strong, Carroll will require students to live on campus for their first two years and will guarantee housing placement for the first three years.
This approach ensures stability, connection, and belonging through your most important transitional years at Carroll.
What’s Changing for Fall 2026?
Carroll is updating its housing policy from a 3-year live-on requirement to a 2-year live-on requirement, paired with a 3-year housing placement guarantee.
What does this mean for you?
- You will live on campus for your first two years (4 semesters).
- You are guaranteed a housing placement for three full years (6 semesters).
- You may choose to live on or off campus after your second year (4 semesters), but Carroll guarantees that a space will be available if you want to stay.
The guarantee includes:
- A bed on campus for three years
- Participation in the housing selection process for all three years
- Priority housing selection by class standing (Seniors → Juniors → Sophomores → First-Years assigned to Guadalupe Hall)
