Mary Twis, PhD, LMSW-AP is a social worker, educator, and researcher specializing in human trafficking, rights-based social work, and trauma- and violence-informed care. She has authored nearly 40 publications and regularly presents at national and international conferences. Dr. Twis is recognized for her expertise in mixed-methods research, inclusive and applied pedagogy, and working with marginalized populations, with a research agenda grounded in the practical application of human rights concepts.
