Is it possible to ski an area hosting the Senior Nationals in 1967, has 2600' vertical, and only 15 miles from U of MT @ $5.00/day?  Try Snow Bowl in Missoula! After skiing the best in VT and Austria, I agree with the patrolman who said "You have the world's best skiing here at Missoula ." Early-season snow on top, the "Longhorn" 1.5 mile run to the bierstube, the nearly 1 mile "Grizzly'' drops 2000 ft, and the "Spartan" is full of moguls. The powdery "Bowl" was the 1967 National Downhill, offering many routes to enjoy.
