Required for Stafford Loan borrowers who have not previously signed a Federal Direct Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN).

If you have accepted a Stafford Loan at Carroll College, you must complete the on-line entrance counseling and a Master Promissory Note to receive your Direct Federal Stafford Loan funds.

Information about the Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan and other private alternative loan options is available here.

If you have received any monetary awards from private groups, organizations, churches, etc. whether check or cash received apart from the College, you need to report them to the Financial Aid Office.

The Federal government randomly selects students for a process called verification in which you must submit federal income tax information to the Office of Financial Aid. If your Student Aid Report (FAFSA results) indicates you were selected for verification, you must complete this step.

The Office of Financial Aid would like to better serve our students. In order to do so, we ask that you qualify your financial aid award. Payment arrangements must be made by January 1, 2024 for the spring semester or your financial aid may be in jeopardy.
