Join us for the inauguration of Carroll College's 20th President, Jennifer Glowienka, Ph.D., on Tuesday, September 15 at 12:30 pm in the Carroll College PE Center. A community reception will be held following the inauguration. The inauguration ceremony will be rooted in Carroll's Catholic Mission, and celebrate the college's deep connection to Helena and Montana.
Inspired by President Glowienka's background in evolutionary botany, the inauguration theme, Rooted in Mission. Cultivating the Future., reflects the belief that enduring growth begins with strong roots. Grounded in this theme, the week's events celebrate the values that have shaped Carroll for more than a century, with each day highlighting one of the five pillars of the college's mission statement:
- Instilling an enduring wonder for knowledge that will prepare students for leadership and their chosen vocations
- Offering an integrative and value-centered education rooted in freedom of inquiry
- Engaging faithfully the intellectual tradition and the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Serving all with humility, especially our neighbors who are poor and marginalized
- Welcoming all persons of good will in a cooperative journey toward truth and virtue
