Classes at the Hunthausen Activity Center

The Hunthausen Activity Center offers free classes for anyone in the Carroll community to join! You can register for classes at the front desk!

Class Schedule for Spring 2024

All classes are open and free to all students, faculty, and staff.

Monday

  • 5:00-6:30 p.m. — Personal Training with Coach Kaz
    • Coach Kaz will be available in the HAC for advice, workouts of the week, and more. Stop by and get set up with some personalized fitness goals!
  • 5:30-6:30 p.m. — Oula with Micah and Katie
    • Oula celebrates the healing power of dance as part of an inclusive, come-as-you-are community where everyone is welcome. The result is a transformative approach to intentional wellness that’s fun. Oula merges high-intensity cardio with easy-to-follow choreography, mindfulness practices, and a culture of inclusivity - all to an energetic pop soundtrack.
  • 6:30-7:15 p.m — Spinning with Nicole
    • Get your sweat on as we pedal to fitness.

Tuesday

  • 5:30-6:30 p.m. — Guns Gutz and Butts with Lara
    • You can expect a high dose of squats, lunges, bicep curls, sit-ups, and planks. And more often you will find push-ups, chest presses, overhead presses and jumping jacks are all part of the mix too. You can make this class as hard as you want to. Just increase your weights as you get stronger. High repetitions are completed with dumbbells.
  • 7:00-8:00 p.m. — Yoga with Brooke
    • This one-hour vinyasa class will focus on mindful movement, connecting breath to postures. You will build strength and flexibility through traditional yoga poses in a fun and upbeat environment. No experience is necessary. Come as you are and leave feeling refreshed.

Wednesday
