Peace. I'm Chris Yakawich, and this is my third year as a Campus Minister here at Carroll. I am originally from Tri-Cities, Washington, but my parents are both from Butte, Montana. My grandfather was from a low-income Irish mining family in Butte, but he went to Carroll and then obtained a law degree from Notre Dame. He instilled in me a love and respect for Catholic education.
Before working here at Carroll, I taught at a Catholic High School in Washington, and then went to grad school and studied Theology at the Augustine Institute in Denver, Colorado.
I love enjoying the mountains and lakes of Montana, playing live music, and powder skiing.
