Carroll College is seeking comments from the public about the university in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency. The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) will perform a Year-Seven, Comprehensive visit to Carroll College on October 1-3, 2025. The purpose of the visit is to evaluate Carroll’s ongoing ability to meet NWCCU’s standards for accreditation. During the visit, an NWCCU peer evaluation team will be meeting with students, faculty, staff and members of the Board of Trustees.
Prior to this evaluation visit, members of the public may provide comments on Carroll College’s qualifications for accreditation. Comments should address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or academic programs. Comments must be in writing. To be considered, all comments must be to NWCCU ten days prior to the visit (September 21, 2025). Comments sent via the United States Postal Service mail or courier service should be addressed to:

Carroll has been accredited by NWCCU since 1949 and last had a re-affirmation of accreditation visit in 2018. In fall 2024, the college completed the Year-Six evaluation of the current accreditation cycle; a mid-cycle evaluation was completed in 2021. Carrroll’s Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness report (EIE) Self-Evaluation Report will be submitted to NWCCU on or before August 6, 2025.
