Leah Henningsen

What is your favorite thing about Carroll?

My favorite thing about Carroll was living in Guadalupe Hall my freshman year. Almost every night my friends and I would sit in the hallway on my floor for group homework sessions, which were always followed with food and card games. Living in Guadalupe Hall introduced me to some of the best friends, opportunities, and experiences that I will never forget.

Why business? I chose business because of how applicable it is to everyday life. I have always been interested in business strategies (how and why businesses make the decisions they do).

I work in the New Product Development department at Thomson Reuters. I am responsible for making sure our products are easy and enjoyable to use. To do this, I observe our customers using our products and report to the designers and developers on what worked and what didn't. I then recommend changes to the product's design.

Kelsey Fallis

Shortly after graduation in 2014, I accepted a position as a grant and development writer here at Carroll College.  I didn’t set out my freshman year to major in English with the end goal of becoming a grant writer, but Carroll’s courses and faculty prepared me to find success wherever I landed.
