CARROLL RELEASES FALL PLANS
Last week, Carroll released their preliminary plans for the fall semester. Recognizing the advantages of Carroll’s small size coupled with Montana’s low COVID-19 case numbers, college officials are optimistic that we will be able to resume the personalized in-person, on-campus experience that defines a Carroll education.

The health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff remains a top priority guiding all of our decisions. A number of modifications will be in place and campus life will look different for awhile. One of the larger adjustments is that fall semester will begin earlier and end earlier. Classes will now start on August 17 and conclude by November 25. There will also be no Fall break in October. By starting sooner and finishing sooner, it allows us to both avoid the risks associated with large-scale student travel and also reduce the possibility of overlapping with the flu season.

A Marching Back task force has been created to develop the necessary planning to have a safe and successful experience this fall. More details can be found on the Marching Back website at www.carroll.edu/marchingback.

HONORING OUR NURSES
Carroll’s nursing program is known for producing outstanding nurses, and we are doubly pleased when our nursing graduates choose to remain in Montana to share their talents.

In our May 13 Insider, we highlighted four local nurses featured in the Helena IR who were Carroll alumni.

This Insider we want to congratulate Kathryn McGrath ‘98 who was recognized as one of 10 outstanding nurses who make the Butte area a better place.
