Baird's Moment

The moments of friendship and bonding Baird Linke (above, second from left) has experienced during his time at Carroll are, in fact, countless. They've extended through all aspects of his journey here—from athletics, to spirituality and faith, to the outdoors. He's built some of his strongest friendships as a member of the cross country team and cherishes being part of such a tight and supportive group. At the same time, Baird appreciates that new moments of friendship are waiting to happen around every corner.

Helena is a great place to explore and Carroll is a quick walk from miles of trails. I’ve built so many friendships on the trails and it’s nice to be able to get up in the hills without going too far out of town. After a hard test I like to go for a mountain bike ride or a trail run to decompress.

And I’m so grateful for the chance to stay engaged in my faith at Carroll. I look forward to going to COR, the men’s formation group, every week to hang out with my friends and talk about our faith.
