Megan Olszewski

As an undergraduate student at Carroll College, Megan Olszewski combined the Community Health major with a Business Administration minor to prepare her for a career in the health administration.  During her time in Helena, she gained programmatic development skills inside and outside of the classroom by participating in service-learning projects, managing the football team, becoming a Community Advisor, serving on the Presidential Search Committee, and co-chairing the annual IMPACT campaign her senior year.

My job at Jubilant requires me to read and implement complicated pharmaceutical manufacturing procedures. I found these procedures much easier to understand thanks to having read numerous scientific articles and performed advanced chemical techniques in each of my Chemistry courses at Carroll College. Major: Biology;  Minor: Theology

I really enjoyed the moral theology courses I was taking and decided to push it further.  The balance between the black and white nature of biology and the grey nature of theology provided an outlet for me to think critically about issues that aren't necessarily testable.

I always love the theology major/minor get-togethers!

Hanna Roberts

Hanna's Moment

It was Hanna Roberts’ first year at Carroll. As an anthrozoology major, she was volunteering in the equine therapy program at a local therapeutic youth home. One of her young clients was on the autism spectrum and didn’t like water or getting wet, which made bathing a challenge for the child’s parents. So, working closely with her supervisor, Hanna helped develop an idea to desensitize her client to triggers like getting dirty and wet. She told the youth that, on that day, they were going to give one of the horses a bath.
