Richard Rawle Memorial Scholarship

Summary:

The Richard Rawle Memorial Scholarship from Check City: is pleased to announce a $2,000 scholarship essay contest for college students. This scholarship contest is named after Richard Rawle, the father of Check City CEO Tracy Rawle. The Rawle family believes that education is essential for a community to thrive. And with this scholarship, students can finance their education and contribute to society. The applicants must currently be enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4 years university or college in the United States with a minimum of 2.5 GPA.

Gary Pryor Grant

Award: $1,000 (nonrenewable)

Deadline: March 30, 2023. 

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be currently enrolled at college/university in the U.S.
  • You must be at least 18 years old when you enter.
  • You must submit an essay by March – 30, 2023.

Essay question:  Describe a time in your life when you felt that you were treated unfairly. How did it affect you and how were you able to get past whatever it was?

Summary:

The “Reducing Drunk Driving In Our Communities – What Can Students Do?” Scholarship offered by Christian A. Schwaner, P.C., is set to offer $2,500 to a student in need beginning in the 2023/2024 academic year. The firm wants to encourage incoming and current college students to think critically about their communities’ responses to intoxicated drivers. As such, students are expected to submit a 500 to 1,000-word essay detailing how they might improve their community’s attempts to reduce localized intoxicating driving incidents. Christian A.
