Welcome to a New Academic Year

Dear Carroll Community,

The first few weeks of the academic year have been filled with energy, tradition, and joy, and we want to take a moment to celebrate all that has unfolded at Carroll.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to the faculty and staff of Carroll College who worked tirelessly to make the start of the semester such a resounding success.

Sunday, August 17, began bright and early with Move-In Day at 8 am as we welcomed well over 300 new first-year and transfer students to campus, bringing our total enrollment to more than 1,100 students. The excitement of move-in flowed seamlessly into orientation activities, social events, and culminated with a meaningful Convocation that set the tone for the year ahead.

On Wednesday, we carried forward our tradition of “Muffins & Coffee with the Presidents,” which has now been part of Carroll life for eight years. Serving muffins and hot coffee alongside trustees, faculty, staff, and students, this fun gathering marked a perfect start to the first day of classes.

We are deeply grateful for the work and dedication that brought us to this moment. To all our students, new and returning, congratulations on making it through these first few weeks of classes. We are excited for the year ahead and proud to be starting it with such promise, energy, and community.

With gratitude,
