A Weekend of Celebration and Pride

Dear Carroll Community,

Commencement weekend is one of the most joyful and pride-filled traditions in the life of a college. Each spring, we gather not only to celebrate academic achievement, but to honor the growth, perseverance, friendships, faith, and purpose that have shaped our students throughout their time at Carroll College.

This year, we are proud to celebrate the remarkable Class of 2026, with 281 graduates crossing the stage, including 260 bachelor’s degree recipients and 21 graduates from our Master of Social Work program. They come to us from 24 states and three countries, have shaped this campus in countless ways through scholarship, leadership, competition, service, research, mentorship, faith, and community, and range in age from 19 to 57. Together, they reflect the very best of Carroll: talented, compassionate, determined, and committed to lives of purpose.

From the grace of Baccalaureate Mass in the Cathedral of St. Helena, to the excitement and celebration of Commencement in Nelson Stadium, to the special traditions that make this weekend uniquely Carroll, it is a time when our entire community comes together in gratitude and pride.

We also look forward to recognizing outstanding faculty, staff, and students, welcoming back members of the Classes of 1966 and 1976, and hearing from student speaker Jack Conway as he represents his classmates with the insight, humility, and leadership that define this graduating class.

To our families, alumni, friends, and supporters: thank you for walking alongside these graduates on their journey. We invite you to join us, whether here in Helena or via livestream, as we celebrate this extraordinary class and all they have accomplished.

To the Class of 2026: you have left your mark on Carroll, and Carroll will always be part of who you are. We cannot wait to see where your lives of service, leadership, and purpose take you next.

With great pride and gratitude,

Jennifer Glowienka, Ph.D.
