Carroll College's online Master of Social Work program is thrilled to launch a new Tuition Assistance Partnership Program that strengthens our shared commitment to service, community, and the common good. In keeping with the college mission and the MSW program mission, this initiative supports Montana health, behavioral health, and social service organizations in their efforts to grow their own clinical workforce and expand access to care across the state.
Through this partnership, employees of participating organizations receive a 14 percent tuition reduction, awarded as a scholarship, toward Carroll’s clinically-focused online Master of Social Work degree. This investment reflects our MSW program mission to prepare clinical social workers who prevent and solve complex social problems, elevate community health and functioning, and promote social and economic justice through strengths-based and trauma-informed practice.
We are piloting this effort with select Montana organizations and look forward to welcoming additional partners. Together with the 18 percent tuition decrease implemented last year, this program deepens our commitment to accessibility and makes Carroll one of the most affordable and mission-centered pathways to advanced clinical social work education in Montana. Organizations interested in joining this initiative can contact the chair of the Carroll College Department of Social Work, Dr. James Petrovich, at jpetrovich@carroll.edu.
