Sociology Students Lead Book Drive

BookDrive

Carroll sociology students organized a book drive for the Montana Department of Corrections, collecting 24 boxes of materials, including recent textbooks, novels, and biographies, for use in DoC libraries and educational programs. Student leaders juniors Ethan Hull and Kennedy Engstedt (pictured), along with Hadley Wilcox and Sydney Forrey, helped make the project a success. Also pictured are Allyson Briese, Prison Education Programs Coordinator for the MT DoC, and Kaitlin Cornell, ANZ Canine Center Coordinator, who assisted in loading books.

This effort is just one of the many ways Carroll students contribute to and strengthen the wider community. Thank you to everyone who donated, and a special thanks to our students for leading this important initiative.
