In December, at the close of the semester, Carroll's ROTC hosted their 2024 Winter Commissioning ceremony at the Capitol Rotunda. Two cadets, David Luhmann and Coulter Cloninger, were commissioned as Second Lieutenants.
David Luhmann, a native of Lolo, Montana, earned a degree in Health Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Leadership Studies. He is supported by his wife Kylie, parents John and Korinda Luhmann, and several siblings. As a member of the Montana Army National Guard, he will serve as a Second Lieutenant with the 631st Chemical Group based in Missoula, Montana.
Coulter Cloninger, from Spokane, Washington, also graduated in Health Sciences, with minors in History and Leadership Studies. Supported by his wife Bailey and his family, he will commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Armor branch of the U.S. Army.
