A Message from President Jennifer Glowienka
Dear Carroll Community,
As I begin my first year as Carroll College's 20th president, I want to thank you for the warm welcome and encouragement you have extended to me. It is an incredible honor to serve this college and the community that makes it so special.
I also look forward to continuing my close collaboration with Bishop Vetter in his role as Chancellor as we build upon Carroll's strong Catholic mission and prepare for the opportunities ahead.
Looking ahead, one of our highest priorities is expanding access to a Carroll education. We believe more students deserve the opportunity to experience what makes Carroll so special, and we are committed to removing barriers that stand in their way. That means simplifying the admissions process, making it easier for transfer students to join our community, introducing innovative undergraduate programs, and creating new pathways that prepare students for meaningful careers and lifelong learning.
At the same time, we are thoughtfully planning for Carroll's future by exploring new graduate programs in areas where our mission and workforce needs align, while continuing to strengthen the academic programs and student experience that define a Carroll education.
Most importantly, I look forward to spending time with you. Whether welcoming new students to campus, celebrating Homecoming and Family Weekend (October 2-4), visiting with alumni and friends across the country, or meeting members of our community for the first time, I am excited to listen, learn, and continue building relationships that will help shape Carroll's future.
I also hope to see many of you this weekend as Carroll proudly hosts our 22nd annual Symphony Under the Stars on Saturday, a wonderful event that brings our campus and community together in celebration.
Thank you for your continued support of Carroll College. I am excited for all that lies ahead.
With gratitude,
Jennifer Glowienka, Ph.D.
President, Carroll College
