At St. John Vianney Parish in Belgrade, MT,, Fr. Bart Tolleson welcomed five Catholic Studies students and affiliates—Connor O’Brien, Maggie Toekes, Nolan Forseth, Warren O’Malley, and Celi Chapman (pictured counter clockwise)—along with Associate Professor Eric Hall to share Lenten reflections. Each offered a meditation on hope, drawing from figures and themes such as David, Job, The Count of Monte Cristo, Frodo Baggins, the Eucharist, and everyday suffering.
The parish received the reflections in the same manner as they were presented: with humility and gratitude.
The parish then invited the students to a lovely reception, where students had the opportunity to share more about the work of Catholic Studies, Philosophy, Theology, and other programs at Carroll College.
