Dear Carroll Community,
As the fall semester draws to a close and we approach a time of rest and reflection, we want to extend our gratitude to the entire Carroll College community and share our hopes for a happy and restorative holiday with loved ones.
December has been a meaningful and joyful month on campus. Across Carroll, there have been countless moments that reminded us who we are and what we value as a community. From the delight of Anthrozoology’s horse caroling to the joy of Late Night Breakfast during finals week, campus was filled with care and connection. We especially enjoyed spending time with students during Pizza with the Presidents in the library, a welcome pause during a busy week.
This season also brought opportunities for reflection and celebration that drew our broader community together in meaningful ways. The Advent Adoramus and Candlelight Mass and the lighting of the Carroll Christmas tree, offered opportunities to gather and reflect. Christmas markets and strolls, student celebrations, and the Alumni and Family Christmas Party brought together generations of Saints, while our Employee Christmas Party gave us the chance to celebrate our faculty and staff. We were also proud to see our choirs represent Carroll at the Montana State Capitol, sharing their talent and spreading joy throughout the broader Helena community.
As many head into a well-deserved break, we hope this time offers space for renewal and reconnection. Whether you are a student, faculty or staff member, alum, parent, or friend of the college, your presence and support are what make Carroll such a vibrant and caring community.
Thank you for all you contribute to Carroll College throughout the year. We look forward to the new semester and the year ahead, and to welcoming many of you back to campus in January.
As we reflect on the gift of Christ’s birth, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with faith, peace, and abundant grace.
With gratitude and warm wishes,
Jennifer Glowienka, Ph.D.
