Carroll College is proud to celebrate its Golden Graduates—alumni marking 50 or more years since graduation, with special recognition of the Classes of 1956, 1966, and 1976—during Commencement Weekend, May 8–10. This special reunion honors alumni whose lifelong connection to Carroll reflects decades of leadership, service, and commitment to the College’s mission.
Golden Graduates will be at the heart of Commencement Weekend celebrations. Alumni will gather for a reunion dinner and enjoy guided campus tours highlighting both cherished traditions and new developments, offering time to reconnect with classmates and rediscover Carroll.
An especially meaningful part of the weekend is the Baccalaureate Mass, held prior to Commencement, where Golden Graduates are invited to join current graduates, families, faculty, and staff in prayer and thanksgiving—underscoring the central role of faith in the Carroll experience. A highlight of the weekend will be the formal recognition of Golden Graduates during the Commencement ceremony, where they will be honored alongside current graduates, symbolizing the enduring bond between generations of Saints and the lifelong value of a Carroll education.
The celebration will continue with a college-sponsored farewell reception, culminating a wonderful weekend together. Saturday evening will be open for individual classes to plan their own activities, providing a final opportunity for fellowship and reflection.
Carroll College is honored to welcome its Golden Graduates home and to celebrate the lasting impact they have made—and continue to make—on the Carroll community.
The Classes of ‘56, ‘66 and ’76 will receive informational packets in the mail mid- February. If you are a member of these honored classes and have not received notification, please contact Renee’ Wall, Sr. Director of Alumni and Community Engagement at rwall@carroll.edu or call 406-447-5169.
