SAINTS IN THE NEWS
After a 40+ year career in higher education, Fr. Thomas R. Flynn ’58, PhD, professor of philosophy at Emory University, is planning to retire at the end of this spring semester. Fr. Flynn is a former Carroll trustee (2009-2017) and current Board Fellow. In addition to being a professor of history at Carroll early in his career, Fr. Flynn also received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Carroll in 2006. He is also a very generous benefactor of the college. Read his story in the Emory Wheel here: Flynn to Retire After 40 Years at Emory.
