COVID-19 Update: October 11, 2021

Marching Forward Graphic

Dear Students,

This is a short note to remind you that it is your responsibility to make sure you have a mask when you arrive to class.

We do not have an extra supply of masks available for all our classrooms so please be well prepared by remembering your own mask at the start of class.

If you have forgotten your mask, you will be asked to please return to your dorm room or car and retrieve one before you can enter the classroom.

Throw some extra masks in your backpack and your glove compartment so you are always covered!

Reminder, we’ve updated our mask guidance to include most indoor public spaces as well as our continued requirement in all classrooms, labs, and instructional areas.

St. Peter’s Health announced Friday that it currently has its highest number of hospitalized community members with COVID-19 since the pandemic started and they don’t believe they are at their peak yet. The Delta variant is VERY active in our community and in addition to getting vaccinated, your best protection from contracting the virus is to wear your masks when you are in public and group settings. Keep your circle small, stay home if you feel sick, and get tested if necessary.

As always, thank you for looking out for each other.

Stay safe and healthy, Saints,

The Marching Forward Team
