Conner Commissioned as Second Lieutenant

Conner Commissioning

In December, as the fall semester came to a close, Carroll College ROTC Cadet Landen Conner was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army.

A member of the class of 2025, Conner graduated in December having earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Leadership. He graduated magna cum laude and was recognized as a Distinguished Military Graduate, an honor awarded to top ROTC cadets nationwide who demonstrate superior performance in leadership, academics, and physical fitness.

Throughout his time at Carroll, Conner exemplified the Army values of leadership, discipline, and service while balancing a rigorous academic course load and excelling in ROTC training. Faculty members and ROTC cadre consistently praised his dedication to scholarship and service.

Following commissioning, Conner has been  granted an education delay by the U.S. Army and will attend Wake Forest School of Medicine, where he will pursue a medical degree. Upon completion of his medical training, he will continue his service as an officer in the United States Army.

Congratulations to Second Lieutenant Conner on this exciting milestone and best of luck as he begins the next chapter of his service and medical training.
