We are honored to share that through the generosity of Carroll College Facilities Director Dan Byrd, Carroll College has donated flooring to the Last Chance Community Pow Wow. This gift will provide a welcoming space for dancers at the annual community Pow Wow, held at the Lewis & Clark Fairgrounds.
The Last Chance Community Pow Wow hopes this flooring update will encourage the return of dancers who were previously unable to dance on the hard concrete floors. Where the way once hardened, a path now welcomes; where steps once faltered, they find home.
This flooring will lay a path back to the circle and give each dancer a steadier step, easing sore bodies long pressed by the concrete. We are honored to deepen our partnership with Carroll College, whose generosity makes this welcome visible.
"We are incredibly excited to use this flooring, and even more excited to build a relationship with Carroll and strengthen our community,” said Darcy O’Dell, Last Chance Community Pow Wow Board Member. “We are also sincerely thankful for this partnership and invite the Carroll College community to attend this year's Last Chance Pow Wow, September 26–28.”
The event is free and open to the public. Details can be found here: https://lastchancepowwow.com/.
