HELENA — Carroll College Theatre invites the Helena community to its Spring 2026 Theatre for Young Audiences production, A Year with Frog and Toad – TYA edition, with music by Robert Reale and Willie Reale. Performances will be held in the FLEX Theatre, located in the lower level of the Carroll College Campus Center, April 17–26, with shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. The production runs approximately one hour with no intermission.
Nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, A Year with Frog and Toad is based on the beloved books by Arnold Lobel. This whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons.
From planting gardens in the spring to sledding in the winter, their adventures highlight the small moments and meaningful lessons that define lasting friendship.
Blending elements of vaudeville and imaginative storytelling, the production celebrates the beauty of differences and the joy of companionship. With its lively, melodic score and gentle humor, A Year with Frog and Toad offers an engaging introduction to live theatre for young audiences while remaining entertaining for all ages.
Tickets are available now at BookTix: https://cct.booktix.com and may also be purchased at the door beginning one hour before each performance.
