Carroll College Concludes its 5th annual Saints Giving Day

Giving Day Students

Carroll College’s 5th annual Saints Giving Day concluded as a resounding success, uniting the community for a 24-hour fundraising effort from noon on March 19 to noon on March 20. What began as an ambitious initiative became a clear demonstration of generosity in action, directly benefiting students and strengthening programs across campus.

Because of the strength and spirit of the Carroll community, a total of $401,251 was raised from 1,195 donors to support students, programs, and opportunities. The scale of engagement reflects a deep and ongoing commitment to the college’s mission.

The collective impact was both broad and meaningful:

  • 6 Business Supporters and 17 Lead Donors helped drive momentum
  • Support came from 25 states, demonstrating nationwide reach
  • 31 donors from the Class of 2026 contributed, highlighting student involvement
  • 373 alumni participated in this remarkable effort

With 62 Causes available—including academic programs, student research, athletics, clubs, scholarships, and institutional initiatives—donors were able to support areas that matter most to them. Every contribution played a direct role in enhancing the Carroll experience.

Impact That Inspires

The true success of Saints Giving Day is reflected not just in dollars raised, but in the lives impacted:

  • “The Anthrozoology department makes a real difference in the world. It is unlike other college programs in this country. It is a department full of heart that shows the caring nature of Carroll College.” — Kelly Schuttler
  • “Thank you Carroll Nursing for helping to shape me into the nurse I am today! Go Saints!!” — Susmitha Helbling
  • “Carroll made me a better athlete, business owner, spouse, parent and Catholic. I owe so much to what it continues to give me and my family.” — “Tall” Paul Barnett

These voices reinforce the tangible, lasting impact that donor support creates across disciplines and generations.

The enthusiasm, encouragement, and generosity shown throughout Saints Giving Day created meaningful momentum that will continue to benefit students well into the future.

While Saints Giving Day has officially concluded, opportunities to give remain available. Continued support can be made at www.carroll.edu/givenow, ensuring that this momentum carries forward and the impact continues to grow.
