HELENA, MT – Carroll College has appointed Nancy Osmundson as its next Vice President for Institutional Advancement. An experienced advancement and nonprofit executive with more than 20 years of leadership in philanthropy, organizational growth, and strategic development, Osmundson will begin her role on June 8, 2026.
Osmundson joins Carroll from the Teton Valley Health Care Foundation in Driggs, Idaho, where she served as executive director. There, she led the foundation's reestablishment, built a comprehensive development program from the ground up, significantly expanded its donor network, strengthened governance and operations to ensure long-term sustainability, and generated more than $10 million in philanthropic support in 2.5 years as the sole fundraiser for the organization.
"Nancy's experience and commitment to mission make her an outstanding addition to the Carroll community," said Carroll College President Dr. Jennifer Glowienka. "She has a proven track record of building strong philanthropic partnerships, leading organizations through periods of growth and transition, and investing in the people around her. Her leadership will help expand our philanthropic efforts, deepen our engagement with alumni and donors, and position Carroll for continued growth and impact in the years ahead.”
As vice president, Osmundson will lead Carroll's Office of Institutional Advancement, overseeing fundraising, donor and alumni relations, advancement communications, and campaign strategy. Her experience includes healthcare foundations, higher education, nonprofit consulting, restorative justice organizations, and private-sector leadership. Through her consulting work, she has partnered with organizations across the Mountain West to strengthen leadership, improve systems, and identify opportunities for sustainable growth and measurable success.
As a product of Catholic schools and small liberal arts colleges, Osmundson brings a deep appreciation for mission-driven education and its transformative impact on students' lives. Having made Montana her home, she looks forward to building relationships across the Carroll community and advancing the college's mission.
“I am deeply honored to accept the role of Vice President of Advancement at Carroll College,” said Nancy Osmundson. “With the momentum of Dr. Glowienka’s presidency, this is an exciting time for the college’s future. I am eager to work with the exceptional advancement team and support the mission, growth, and future success of Carroll College.”
Osmundson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, magna cum laude, and a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University. She succeeds Annie Crookshank, who has served as interim vice president and will assist with the transition.
