Students from the Carroll College ASCE Student Chapter conducted their annual cleanup of a two-mile stretch of Interstate 15 south of Helena on October 22, 2017. Seniors Forrest Walker, Elly Schmeltzer, Kellen Miller, Brenden Borges, and Raymond Gomez led this community service effort. The students took about 3 hours to pick up litter along the rights-of-way and median of the Interstate. To reward themselves, the group enjoyed a BBQ with burgers and hot dogs after the cleanup.
