ANZ Students Addressing Feral Rabbit Population

Carroll College’s Anthrozoology students are earning local media attention for their hands-on work addressing Helena’s Rodney Street feral rabbit population. Featured on KTVH and in the Helena Independent Record, the student-led project combines research, community engagement, and animal welfare through surveying residents, mapping hotspots, trapping rabbits, and developing humane relocation solutions. It is a strong example of Carroll students applying classroom learning to solve real community challenges.
