Scholarship Recognition Ceremony

Carroll College wishes to recognize your outstanding academic achievement. Join us for this exciting business casual event, which will celebrate you as well as showcase our students, faculty, and campus.

Please RSVP by February 12, 2026, by registering online or by calling 406.447.4384. Space is limited for this event and will be based on registration. A waitlist will be instituted if the event fills up before the RSVP deadline.

Schedule of Events

The Scholarship Recognition Ceremony provides the opportunity to be honored for your academic achievements, receive your Carroll scholarship certificate, and visit the Carroll College campus. You will meet amazing current students, interact with outstanding faculty, and tour our beautiful campus. 

Schedule of Events – Sunday, February 15

  • 9:00 am: Mass at the Cathedral (optional)
  • 9:00 am: Campus Tour (optional)
  • 10:00 am: Check-in/Social with faculty and staff.
  • 11:00 am: Welcome and Brunch
  • 12:00 pm: Scholarship Ceremony
  • 1:00 pm: Presidential Toast
  • 1:30/2:00 pm: Campus Tour or optional sessions with Financial Aid, Student Services, and/or Admissions
  • 7:00 pm Mass at the Campus Chapel (optional)

Optional Written Essay Competition

Submit an original essay of 500-1,000 words responding to the following:

  • What does "Non scholae, sed vitae" (Not for school, but for life) mean to you?
  • How do you foresee yourself putting this motto into practice in your chosen career/field of study?

Include an introduction cover page with your essay containing the title, your full name, city, and state. Send your essay as an attachment to admission@carroll.edu by 11:59 PM MST on Sunday, February 8th. Only Word Documents and PDFs will be accepted.

  • No late essays will be accepted. 
  • Only one submission per person.
  • No inappropriate content allowed.
  • Winners will be announced during the recognition ceremony on Sunday evening. You must be present to win.  Please note that the essay contest winners may be featured at the event, with a portion of the submission being read.  
  • All decisions of the judges are final.
