Carroll's Mass of the Holy Spirit this year celebrates the Sept. 15 inauguration of Carroll College’s 20th president, Dr. Jennifer Glowienka.
The Mass is part of Carroll’s Inauguration Week, themed Rooted in Mission. Cultivating the Future., with events throughout the week celebrating the five pillars of the college’s mission.
Before the Mass
For those interested, many students will be gathering on the steps of the Campus Center at 5:50 pm to walk together to the Cathedral. You are very welcome to join. Their witness of faith and joy, coupled with yours, will no doubt be an inspiration and blessing for the whole Carroll community.
During the Mass
Our Carroll community will join together at the Cathedral to celebrate a centuries-old tradition at Catholic institutions of higher education wherein the community invokes the guidance of the Holy Spirit as it begins the academic year. We will ask the Spirit's blessing upon our institution so that Carroll might fulfill its two-fold mission of vocation and enlightenment.
After the Mass
There will be a reception following the Mass in the Brondel Center, which is located on the bottom floor of the Cathedral. All are invited to stay for community and refreshments.
