As part of a week of events leading up to the September 15 inauguration of Carroll College’s 20th president, Dr. Jennifer Glowienka, Carroll will host “Magnifica Humanitas and the Mission of Carroll College: A Panel Discussion” on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 7–9 p.m. in the Lower Campus Center.
Bishop Austin Vetter and Carroll faculty and staff will discuss Pope Leo XIV’s Magnifica Humanitas: On Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence and its relevance to Carroll’s academic mission and commitment to value-centered education.

- Rachel Martin, Director of Academic Technology
- Dr. Rebecca Coates, Associate professor of Chemistry
- Moderated by Dr. Katherine Greiner, Associate Professor of Theology
The event is part of Carroll’s Inauguration Week, themed Rooted in Mission. Cultivating the Future., with events throughout the week celebrating the five pillars of the college’s mission.
