Lucky Duck Lit Fest

The Senior English Capstone students—Julia Hackl, John Phillips, Ashtyn Reiner and Keaton Pettis—are proud to announce the Lucky Duck Literary Festival, AKA the 2023 Carroll College Undergraduate Literary Festival, which will take place November 9th. Session #1 will occur in the Lower Cube!

The following presenters are the winners of the festival’s literary prizes:

1st place, as chosen by the Capstone students, goes to Millie Elbert for short story “Insurance Plan.”
T-2nd place goes to Kadee Melton for her one-act play “Unreliable Witness,” and Lily Hoelscher for her collection of poems “My Own Worst Enemy.”
