Truth, Trauma, and Transformation: The Legacy of Native Boarding Schools and Paths to Healing

Carroll College invites the campus and the Helena community to a special presentation on the history of boarding schools and the illuminating effects of government and faith-based Indian Residential Boarding Schools. 

The event will begin with a welcome from Dr. Cherith Smith Sičáŋǧu Lakota Oyate of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and Piikani Nation of the Blackfoot Confederacy. 

A panel and community dialogue, along with a live podcast, will follow the presentation.

Free and open to the public.
