Description: Carroll College invites applications for a full-time, 11-month, tenure-track faculty position to join our Nursing Baccalaureate program with both a long-standing traditional pathway and an Accelerated Nursing pathway. The position would start this upcoming Fall 2025.
The Department of Nursing is seeking a colleague who possesses exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), is committed to academic excellence, enthusiastic about student interactions, and who supports the mission of the college.
Primary responsibilities of the selected faculty candidate include classroom and lab/clinical teaching, clinical scheduling and oversight, student advising, curriculum development, and outcomes evaluation.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a graduate degree (preferably in nursing) as well as an unencumbered Montana Registered Nurse license. We are seeking a colleague who has broad expertise in nursing, especially related to Community and Public Health Nursing, for both the traditional and the accelerated program. Previous teaching and simulation experience desired, but not mandatory.

Description: Carroll College invites applications for a one year, non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry position beginning in August 2025 for the 2025-2026 academic year. Applicants with backgrounds in: Physical, Physical Organic, or Organic Chemistry are encouraged to apply. The position will carry a teaching load of 12 to 15 contact hours per semester. Teaching assignments will be dependent upon candidate expertise and interest, but may include the lecture and laboratory components of the first-year chemistry sequence (major and non-major sections), physical chemistry lecture, and the laboratory component of organic chemistry.
Qualifications: The position is open to all individuals with a M.S. in Chemistry or a related discipline, but preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and teaching experience in the specified areas.

Founding Program Director, Physician Assistant Program
Carroll College invites applications and nominations for the position of Founding Program Director of its developing Physician Assistant (PA) Program. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty and administrative appointment reporting directly to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs (SVPAA). The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership and operational oversight as the PA program advances through its final stages of development toward an anticipated May 2028 matriculation.
Program Context and Status
Carroll College has applied for Accreditation - Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Carroll College anticipates matriculating its first class in May 2028, pending achieving Accreditation - Provisional status at the October 2027 ARC-PA meeting.
The program has made substantial progress toward this goal and has completed or initiated the following key developments:
- Designed a comprehensive systems-based didactic curriculum and a robust clinical education structure.
- Developed student learning outcomes, program competencies, and a longitudinal assessment and evaluation plan.
- Created a four-term didactic phase with integrated components including professional practice, simulation, and interprofessional education.
- Hired key faculty and staff, including a Medical Director and Director of Clinical Education.
- Engaged an experienced PA education consultant to support accreditation and program design.
- Secured clinical partnerships and program support with healthcare institutions around the region.
- Begun collaboration with enrollment and marketing teams to prepare for student recruitment and admissions.
The Founding Program Director will join a supportive and mission-aligned leadership team and will play a critical role in finalizing the program’s accreditation efforts and launching a successful inaugural cohort.
Primary Responsibilities
Program Leadership and Development
- Serve as the Founding Program Director, providing strategic oversight of all aspects of the PA program.
- Function as Department Chair, leading academic governance and representing the department within the college’s academic structure.
- Ensure the continued development and delivery of a mission-aligned curriculum that meets ARC-PA Standards.
- Recruit, hire, and mentor a diverse and effective team of faculty and staff.
Accreditation and Compliance
- Lead the program through the ARC-PA’s Provisional Accreditation process and ensure continued compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Implement and oversee a comprehensive evaluation and continuous quality improvement plan.
Academic Administration
- Oversee semester schedules, teaching assignments, and operational planning in collaboration with faculty and staff.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the program, including supervision of program personnel.
Budget and Resource Management
- Develop and manage the program’s budget in alignment with institutional priorities.
- Communicate and advocate for program resource needs to senior leadership.
Student Recruitment and Support
- Collaborate with enrollment, admissions, and marketing teams to attract a qualified and diverse applicant pool.
- Ensure effective advising, support services, and communication of academic and professional expectations.
Faculty Development and Culture
- Foster a collaborative and respectful program culture that emphasizes faculty mentorship, scholarship, and service.
- Support faculty development and opportunities for professional advancement.
Institutional and External Engagement
- Represent the PA program to internal and external stakeholders, including campus leadership, community partners, and national PA organizations.
- Build the program’s regional and professional reputation through strategic engagement and advocacy.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred (e.g., DMSc, EdD, PhD).
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant/Associate (NCCPA).
- Minimum of three years of full-time higher education experience at the time of appointment.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, accreditation, and/or program administration.
- Eligible for licensure as a PA in the State of Montana.

Staff Positions
Description: Carroll College is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Administrative Assistant for the Wellness Center. This 10 month, full-time, benefited position provides administrative support to the Wellness Center, which includes; receptionist and secretarial duties, daily supervision of work study students, management of confidential medical and counseling records, and daily interaction with students, parents, staff, faculty, and the public. Also responsible for the management of electronic elements of Counseling Services.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years administrative support experience, preferably in a medical setting.

Carroll College is seeking an accomplished and innovative leader to serve as Associate Vice President of Advancement. This senior level position provides visionary and strategic leadership to support the College’s mission and strengthen its fundraising efforts.
Reporting to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, the Associate Vice President will oversee the College’s Major Giving, Planned Giving, and Corporate and Foundation Relations teams. The AVP will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, managing financial goals and leading the planning and implementation of comprehensive campaigns. In close collaboration with the College President, Board of Trustees, and Advancement leadership, the AVP will help cultivate and secure transformational philanthropic support that advances the College’s mission.
This position will provide strategic direction for all areas under their purview while leading a team of dedicated fundraising professionals and guiding the development of major donor strategies. They will manage a personal portfolio of high-net-worth prospects with the capacity to make six- to eight-figure contributions. The AVP will serve as a senior leader in the design and execution of the next comprehensive fundraising campaign and play a central role in engaging and supporting the President and Trustees in donor cultivation and solicitation. In addition, the AVP will oversee budget planning, performance metrics, and prospect research operations to ensure an efficient and data-driven advancement program.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field; Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in higher education fundraising (or equivalent experience in high-level sales or relationship-based fundraising). A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role with demonstrated team-building and supervisory experience. A proven track record of success in closing six to seven figure gifts in major and planned giving, with experience in comprehensive campaigns, strongly preferred.

Description: Carroll College is seeking a full-time Custodian. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, ambitious, reliable, and detail oriented. This person will perform cleaning tasks on campus. This position is also considered a general maintenance worker and is required to assist in performing preventive maintenance on non-electrical equipment and building infrastructures and assist in snow removal, moving of miscellaneous items on campus and assists other craftsmen in all phases of maintenance.
A $500 Retention Bonus will be given after the employee successfully completes 6 months of employment in the Facilities department. A second $500 Retention Bonus will be given after the employee successfully completes one full year of employment in the Facilities department.

This position will assist the Conferencing & Events Manager in the coordination of events, conferences, and meetings. Description: Carroll College is seeking qualified candidates for a Library Support Coordinator. This is a 10 month, part-time position (23.5 hours per week) that provides essential support to the Library and plays a key role in helping patrons effectively use its resources and services. The individual in this role will assist patrons in using the Library’s discovery tool (Primo), navigating the Library of Congress Classification system, identifying relevant collections, and locating material in both physical and electronic collections.

Description: Carroll College invites applications for a Senior Accountant III/Budget Analyst. This position is will perform accounting functions, including, but not limited to, coordinating and assisting with the financial planning, budgeting, accounting and fiscal management for the College. The incumbent performs a key function in preparing the annual and three-year budget scenarios and serves as support staff to the Budget Advisory Committee.
This position is responsible for the review and analysis of departmental budgets, financial transactions and general ledger account activity to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and college policies. Responsibilities also include preparation of daily and monthly account reconciliations and schedules, auditing general ledger accounts, financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and meeting numerous compliance requirements.
The Budget Analyst/Senior Staff Accountant assists in the College’s annual audit by analyzing transactions and preparing complex schedules and journal entries; and preparing financial statement footnote disclosures.
The incumbent is responsible for providing first level support, direction, and guidance and direct supervision to a Accounting Generalist position. This includes establishing and monitoring internal controls to ensure the security of confidential records and that accounting transactions are appropriately authorized; ensuring all payroll obligations are processed accurately and within established guidelines, establishing processes and procedures to facilitate contracts with third party service providers, and ensuring tax reporting requirements are processed in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible work-related experience.
