Student Activities and Leadership
Some are big, some are small, some are surprising, and others you’ll remember forever. But no matter what, all of the moments you experience through campus activities and student organizations have the power to shape
From volunteering in Helena and throughout the region, to sharpening your teamwork and leadership skills in a student club, to opening your eyes to new perspectives, to creating lifelong memories with new friends on outdoor adventure excursions, student activities and organizations here provide countless moments that are as powerful as they come.
No matter what your interests in life are, chances are we have a club for it. Engineering, astronomy, theatre, classical strings, yoga, hockey, religion, public service, business, teaching, gaming, running, design, ultimate Frisbee, military science, swing dance, the outdoors—this is just an example of all the options you’ll have.
Carroll Adventure and Mountaineering Program (CAMP)
Our CAMP program is among the most popular extracurricular offerings we provide, delivering truly unparalleled opportunities for outdoor fun and lasting memories. Through CAMP, you can get involved with anything from fly-fishing in the nearby Missouri River to spring break trips in places like Moab.
Health and fitness are a way of life at Carroll, which is why so many of our students participate in organized sports programs, which include intramurals, Saints club hockey, Softball Weekend, the Ultimate Frisbee Club, and many other sporting events and activities throughout the year.
Campus Ministry offers you the perfect outlet to strengthen your faith and live your spirit during your time at Carroll. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in retreats, community service, group activities, Mass, and much more.
The arts are alive at Carroll, and theatre season serves as the perfect example of the richness of our arts programming. The newly renovated home of our theatre in the campus center serves as an ideal setting for student-led theatrical productions, which this year includes Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
Part of what makes Carroll such a special place is the way our students invest themselves in our community and culture. Student Government offers exceptional opportunities for you to develop leadership skills and let student voices be heard.
Giving back, striving for social justice, and working to improve the lives of others isn’t just something we do at Carroll. It’s the very heart of who we are. That’s why you’ll find opportunities to volunteer locally, regionally, across the country, and around the world all year long.
