Athletic Hall of Fame Brunch – 9:30 a.m., Campus Center Come congratulate this year’s inductees.

Pictured clockwise: Jill (Kent) Jenneskens '93, Volleyball; Shawn (Schweyen) Robertson '94, Volleyball; Jeff Shirley '06, Football; and Kirk Stiles '02, Basketball.

Jill (Kent) Jenneskens '93 – Jill was a member of the three Frontier Conference championship teams and on the 1992 Carroll Hall of Fame team that finished fifth at the NAIA National Championship. She was a setter/hitter that was second on the team in kills her senior year while notching 618 assists.

Shawn (Schweyen) Robertson '94 – Another member of the 1992 Hall of Fame team that finished fifth at the NAIA National Championship, Shawn led the Saints her senior year in kills with 309, was third on the team with 238 digs and third on the team with 107 blocks. She was also a member of three consecutive Frontier Conference Championships.
Basketball player
Jeff Shirley '06 – Jeff was a member of each of the consecutive national championship football teams from 2001-05. He was the 2005 Frontier Conference Player of the Year and a 2005 First-Team All-American. He holds the record for starting 57 games.

Kirk Stiles Class '02 – Kirk is the Carroll record holder for three-pointers made in a season (136) and career (363). He is seventh all-time on the Carroll scoring list with 1,757 points. He was a member of the 2000-01 Frontier Conference Championship team and the 2001-02 NAIA Tournament team. He was a three-time All-Frontier Conference First Teamer.

Warren Nelson Award – Pat & Colleen McCutcheon
Pat (Class of 1972) and Colleen (Class of 1974) McCutcheon have been long time supporters of Carroll College and Fighting Saints Athletics. Their generosity over the years has benefited student athletic scholarships through the Saints Athletic Association, specific athletic program support, important capital projects like Nelson Stadium, the Hunthausen Activity Center, and the new Chapel. Pat served on Carroll’s Board of Trustees from 2001 to 2009 and currently serves on the College’s Board Fellows. Pat is currently a senior vice president for PayneWest Insurance.

  • November 3: Founder’s Day Lecture – 7:00 p.m. Mark Johnson ’98 this year’s Alumni Academic Achievement Awardee will present his lecture entitled, "Becoming Chinese in Montana: Political Activism amongst Montana’s Historic Chinese Communities."
  • November 4: Founder’s Day Dinner – 7:00 p.m. Alumni Academic Achievement, Hall of Fame, Young Alumni and Luminary Awards will be presented.
