Dr. Craig Pierson and his wife Mary Ann established the Pierson Family Endowment through a Charitable Gift Annuity. By establishing a gift annuity, they receive monthly payments during their lifetimes which supplement their retirement income. At the end of their lifetimes, the annuity will fund the Pierson Family Endowment to provide merit scholarships to students and an endowed chair in STEM disciplines.
