As Benedict Morelli, founding partner of Morelli Law Firm once said: “TBIs represent a major cause of disability posing a significant threat to life in the U.S.”. Throughout our legal career, we have met and represented many survivors. They were the ones who inspired us to create the “Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Survivor Scholarship” in the hopes of providing support to further their academic aspirations.
We are offering $10,000 to a TBI survivor. As such, we believe that including our scholarship on your web page would help students find the support they need.
To be eligible for the “Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Survivor Scholarship,” applicants must meet the following requirements:
- 3.0 GPA (an official transcript must accompany the application)
- Write a 1,000-word (maximum) essay on the topic:
“Please write an essay about the challenges you faced and/or continue to face due to your TBI, as well as how you overcame these challenges. What would you like other people with TBI to learn from your experience?”.
- Express consent to the scholarship’s Terms and Conditions
The application must be completed and submitted on this page until June 15, 2021.
