Carroll has a newly appointed president – Dr. John Cech was selected by the Board of Trustees to lead Carroll as its 18th president. Wasting no time becoming a true Carroll Saint, Dr. Cech was announced as president the morning of Monday, March 5 and was cheering on the Saints basketball team that evening at the PE Center. Already well acquainted with Carroll as the parent of a current student, John and his wife Victoria fit very nicely into the Carroll family. Dr. Cech is currently Deputy Commissioner of Higher Education for the Montana University System and will assume the Carroll presidency in June of this year. Learn more about Dr. Cech and view some of his media interviews from the past week. Please join us in welcoming John and Victoria Cech to our family of Saints!

Helena Bishop, Chancellor of the College and Carroll alum The Most Rev. George Leo Thomas ‘72 is leaving the mountains of Montana for the bright lights of Las Vegas. Pope Francis named Bishop Thomas as Bishop of Las Vegas, Nevada, in late February. “We’ve been extremely blessed by the leadership Bishop Thomas has provided the college,” said Fr. Marc Lenneman, Carroll's Chaplain and Director of Campus Ministry. "As an alumnus, he knew Carroll from the inside out. He loved this place and he especially loved the students here. We’ll certainly miss him, but his gifts will serve the larger Church well. It will be a grace for the people of Las Vegas to have a Carroll Saint in their midst.” Read more.
