Recently Dr. Earl Heller, President Heller Land and Cattle Co., made gifts totaling $812,000 of which over half a million was in support of Carroll’s Catholic Mission. Dr. Heller’s gift was specifically designated to help grow the Catholic Studies Major, supporting faculty and providing scholarships for students. He also supported Peer Ministry and FOCUS, which provides students more opportunities to strengthen their faith. A special alumni project including a record refresh, gathering alumni success stories and telling Carroll’s success stories, will be made possible by Dr. Heller’s generous gift. Forensics, Track and Field, Women’s and Men’s Basketball also benefited from Dr. Heller’s generosity.
Giving back has been important to Dr. Heller because of his gratitude to Carroll College for helping him fulfill his dream of becoming a physician.
