Carroll College Best in the West for the Seventh Year in a Row

HELENA, MT – For the seventh straight year, Carroll College is the top rated Regional College in the West according to U.S. News & World Report. Carroll once again earned a perfect score of 100 with the 2018 rankings providing data on over 1,700 schools.

“We are honored to be recognized once again for the top-tier educational experience we provide to our students at Carroll College,” said Interim President Fr. Stephen Rowan. “To have been selected seven years in a row demonstrates the college’s enduring commitment to academic excellence and our ability to attract bright and engaging students, as well as talented faculty and staff. In addition to the #1 ranking for Best Regional College in the West, Carroll was selected #2 for Best Value College in the West for a second year. Carroll also retained the top standing for Best Regional College in the West for Veterans for the third year in a row.

The “Best Colleges” rankings, released annually by U.S. News & World Report, provide one of the most comprehensive and reputable assessments of over 1,700 accredited four-year schools compared on a set of 15 indicators of academic excellence. Among the factors measured in the rankings are how well schools retain and graduate students, assessment of excellence from academic peers, the quality of and investment in faculty, admissions selectivity, financial resources and alumni giving.
