About

Degree: Business Administration

Why did you choose to study business? I chose to study business because it offers a wide range of opportunities post-graduation. Business offers one the ability to run their own company or pursue a passion working for a large corporation. I enjoy the versatility of the degree and all the potential that it can offer.

Why did you choose Carroll College? I chose Carroll College for its small school feel and the close knit community that supports the students. I wanted to be a part of an intimate learning environment too where a student is not just a number.

What do you like about the business department? I have enjoyed the internship opportunities and great academic advising that the business department has offered. The business department taught me great skills when conducting business in a professional setting and what to expect post-graduation.

Internships: Business Development and Marketing Intern-United Way of Lewis and Clark County; Marketing Intern-Montana State Society of Human Resource Management;Human Resource Intern-Ada County Department of Administration

Extracurricular involvement while at Carroll: Participated in Forensics; Member of Honor Scholars Program for 2 years

What are you up to now? I accepted a job as an Event and Marketing Assistant for the Idaho Statesman in Boise, Idaho right after college, but I now work as a marketing specialist for ForaCare Inc. in Moorpark, California.
