Today, Macy, a Master of Social Work graduate from the Class of 2025, is working in a group practice in Missoula, Montana, spending mornings with her two-year-old and afternoons supporting clients through in-person and telehealth therapy. Her MSW degree opened the door to meaningful, face-to-face clinical work, allowing her to grow beyond an entry-level agency role while billing insurance under supervision.
Carroll College’s MSW program made that possible. The program’s flexibility, Zoom-based learning, manageable time commitment, and ability to tailor electives to her professional interests helped her build both the tools and confidence needed to step into clinical practice.
