About
Hi! I'm Jen McCaughan, Library Support Coordinator for the Corrette Library and Simperman Learning Commons. I graduated from Carroll with a bachelor's in TESOL and French. My degree has helped me travel extensively—both as a student and after graduation. I have had the huge privilege to visit, study in, or work in France, Spain, Italy, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Mexico, Niger, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Japan. I was an Adjunct French Professor for Carroll in 2019 and 2020. I've worked with students from Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America. While my love of travel is strong, my love for Helena and Carroll is strong too! My family and I are happy to have put down roots in this community. I am also the Communications Director for the Cathedral of St. Helena—another community for which I am also very grateful. I feel truly honored to be a part of two such important, historical, and honored institutions in our community.
The Corette Library was an important part of my time as a student at Carroll and it's a real joy to be able to help provide the same experience for Carroll's students today. See you in the Library!
