Hayley McCullough serves as the Didactic Coordinator for Carroll College’s Physician Assistant Program. She grew up in Helena and went on to earn her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Montana and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Communication and Rhetoric from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Her doctoral research explored the psycholinguistics of storytelling and pop culture. She was also one of the primary conference organizers for the Northeast Popular Culture Association for multiple years.
After nearly a decade living, studying, and teaching outside Montana, Hayley is glad to be home and part of the Carroll community. She works as an assistant coach for the Helena High and Capital High Speech & Debate teams as well and welcomes community members interested in judging their annual tournament. When she isn’t working or coaching, she’s likely reading a fantasy or mystery novel, watching a horror movie, or playing just about any board game.
