About
Hello! I'm Dianne Burke and I'm a Cybersecurity faculty member in Computer Science at Carroll College. After teaching at Carroll for several years as an adjunct, I'm very pleased to join the faculty full-time. My computer career has spanned the oil industry, computer manufacturing, commercial education, and computer forensics. I've taught in higher education for about 25 years and am happy to call Carroll home.
I have a wide range of interests and background (B.A. Biochemistry, M.S. Chemistry, M.Ed., and I'm a doctoral student in Educational Leadership). My interests are just as varied in my personal life as I'm an avid runner and hiker and spend lots of time renovating my 1890s home near the Helena Capitol. A girl can never have too many power tools!
I'm lucky I've been able to combine computers and education throughout my professional life and I look forward to continuing that trend. I'm particularly interested in mentoring women in the field of cybersecurity.
