Making a Carroll education affordable is a top priority, and students have multiple pathways to earn scholarships through donor support, foundation partnerships, and merit-based opportunities. We encourage students and families to explore Carroll’s scholarship webpage to learn more. Below are two recent stories highlighting how scholarship support is helping students pursue their goals.

Nichole Bugli Awarded Stock Farm Greater Ravalli Foundation Scholarship

Carroll College incoming freshman Nichole Bugli of Stevensville, Montana, has been awarded the Stock Farm Greater Ravalli Foundation Scholarship, a prestigious award valued at $8,000 per year.

Bugli will begin her studies at Carroll this fall, pursuing a degree in nursing. The scholarship provides support through all four years of her education, with funding from the Stock Farm Greater Ravalli Foundation during her freshman and sophomore years and a Carroll College matching commitment supporting her junior and senior years.

The Stock Farm Greater Ravalli Foundation Scholarship Program helps students with financial need from Ravalli County public schools pursue higher education and career goals. Since 2004, the foundation has awarded 485 scholarships worth more than $6.5 million to students from Darby, Hamilton, Florence, Stevensville, Victor, and Corvallis.
Carroll College congratulates Nichole on this outstanding achievement and looks forward to welcoming her to campus this fall.

Abigail Nicholls Receives Father Harrington ANAVICUS Scholarship

Carroll College sophomore Abigail Nicholls of Liberty Lake, Washington, has been named the 2026–27 recipient of the Father Harrington ANAVICUS Scholarship, receiving a $1,500 award in recognition of academic achievement, leadership potential, and spiritual conduct.

Nicholls is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minor in theater. She has earned Dean’s List honors in each of the past two semesters while balancing a wide range of leadership roles on campus.

She serves as a Gold Team Student Ambassador in Carroll’s Admission Office, where she represents the college to prospective students, families, and campus visitors. She was praised for her professionalism, initiative, and willingness to step forward whenever extra help is needed.

Nicholls also serves as a Resident Assistant in Residential Life and remains active in Carroll Theatre productions.

The Reverend Frank L. Harrington Scholarship was established in 1987 by the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada, United States Unit, to honor Father Harrington, National Chaplain of The American Legion in 1947-48. Father Harrington was a spiritual leader, teacher and patriot, as shown by his service to Mount St. Charles College (later renamed Carroll College) as dean of men and professor of mathematics.  His spiritual leadership and close liaison with Canadian veterans, as members of the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada, helped develop a close relationship which led to the awarding of honorary life membership in the Canadian group’s United States Unit to members of The American Legion, a unit which flourishes today.
